Our association was founded in 2002 as a non-governmental non-profit organization, under the initiative of a group of people interested in supporting road safety among youth in the island.

The figure of volunteering is the main axis of this Association, which promotes a path of participation and social motivation that allows social and environmental benefits, while promoting solidarity and co-responsibility, so that the population is also involved in the good practices for safety of the younger islanders.

The Association has several purposes related to the defense of the integrity of youth, such as: study and conservation of public resources, cooperation, sustainability of actions through social empowerment actions, social integration, integration of sports, cultural and leisure activities around road safety and training.

In order to reach these objectives, Nauta Association carries out the coordination and execution of various projects supported in volunteers for the promotion of safety, dissemination actions and knowledge of the healthy life without alcohol and drugs, training campaigns for volunteers, student internship programs, volunteer meetings , dissemination and awareness campaigns or activities for social purposes such as social integration.
