The National Olympic and Sports Committee of the Republic of Moldova ensures the application and observance an the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova of the provisions of the Olympic Charter, the decisions of the IOC and International Sport Federations, the World Anti-Doping Code an the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova as well as of the provisions and regulations of the national legislation regarding sports activity. In accordance with its purpose and role at national level, the NOSC supports and encourages initiatives to promote peace, sport ethics, fight against doping, and protect the environment; commits itself to non-discriminatory conduct in the field, irrespective of race, religion, politics, gender or other criteria, and acts to combat violation of moral values ​​and violence against sport; promotes and supports the social integration of athletes and is concerned about promoting women in sport.
