MUGLA SEHIT ZIYA ILHAN DAGDAS VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL

In 2017, the name of the school became Muğla Şehit Ziya İlhan Dagdaş Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. There are 8 departments in our institutions as; Electric Electronic Technologies, IT Technologies, Motor Vehicle Technology, Metal Technology, Construction Technology, Installation and Climatization Technology, Furniture and Interior Decoration Technology. The school has 24 classrooms,16 work places, 2 science labs (physics and chemistry), 1 computer lab (management building), 1 dining hall, 2 football carpet fields, 1 basketball and volleyball field and a library.
In our Technical High School department, education is given on Machine Technology, Construction Technology and Electric Electronic Technologies. In Anatolian High School department, the education is about Electric Electronic Technologies and Informatics Technologies.
OUR VISION: is try to be one of the leading and a model school which is useful for our city and country, loves its land, is at peace with oneself and with its environment, self-educated in occupational areas in our region and in our territory.
OUR MISSION is to be dependent to Atatürk’s Principles and Reforms, loving our country, having technological information of our era, being open to innovations and changes, being productive, both try to train well educated qualified employees and to prepare successful students for university education and having good dialogue with parents, students, graduated students and environment.
Our institution is one of the first school which is practiced the UMEM (Specialized Vocational Course Centre) Project. Construction Technology, Motor Vehicles Technology, Metal Technology, Installation Technology, Furniture and Interior Technology and Electric Electronic Technology courses continue. At weekends, in Vocational Open Plan School scope, face to face educational courses are given. With 90 personals and 450 students, our school is in the first rank in greatness and in the second place in student quantitative.
Our two projects were accepted in IVT content before. In COMENIUS, our one Project was accepted but it couldn’t be practiced because of tender budget deficit. Lastly, in 2015 KA101, ‘’The Fire On Our Back Of Neck’’ was accepted. Our Institution took parts in many local projects. The last one ‘’ We Enjoy With Math’’ Project became the first in Good Samples in Education’’ evaluations both in our district and in our city in 2014-2015 educational year. Our school is the practitioner of the innovations to increase the success and work tranquility in education.
