Mudita Youth Group

Mudita Youth Group is a youth-led initiative established in 2022 by international master's students.
In Sanskrit language, “Mudita” means sympathetic or vicarious joy that comes from delighting in other people's well-being. Mudita is a pure joy unadulterated by self-interest. Our goal is based on this vision where we try to achieve mudita among the youth.
As young people we would like to courage youngsters for a better future and built a sustainable society consciousness. We would like to empower young people from Turkey and all over the world. Our main focus is making youth become more aware of the cultural heritage, human rights, and integration. Our group members have been working on promoting human rights, cultural heritage and sustainability among young people. We would like to encourage young people to meet and learn about different cultures and make them leave their comfort zone behind for a more integrated and welcoming future.
Diversity is a key point in our focus, we would like to engage those who come from migrant backgrounds, and who have economic or social obstacles and cultural differences. Offering them the opportunities of the Erasmus+ program, we seek to empower those groups since the future is our future together.
To achieve our goal our programs are engaging youth in the community by using non-formal education methodologies. We are focusing on directly young people to take action which they will challenge themselves and gain valuable experience.
