Modus Faciendi/Calderone

Modus Faciendi-Calderone is a non-profit SME, active since 2010. It was founded and managed by Tasos Sklavounos (photographer & lighting designer) and Mary Maragoudaki (actress, director & adult educator). It specializes in performing arts, photography, and cinema. Designs and implements original and innovative non-formal educational programs, according to the principles of adult education, both in the form of seminars and in annual cycles. Also produce and organize artistic projects such as theatrical performances, photography exhibitions, festivals, installations, video art, site-specific, etc. Ever since its conception in 2010 has collaborated with artists coming from all forms of arts, both domestic (Greece) and abroad. Its mission is to bring art into the community, to research new ways to combine multiple art forms into artistic projects, and continuously explore new methods and practices in art education and training for adults and young adults. Modus Faciendi/Calderone vision is to bring art into everyday life and to eliminate discrimination of age, levels of education, nationality, gender, physical ability, etc.
