Mladinski svet Ljutomer

The Youth Council is the central association of youth structures in the local community of Ljutomer. The Youth Council was established in
2003 and is one of the first established and registered local youth councils in the Republic of Slovenia. As part of the Ljutomer Youth Council, we defend the interests of young people and encourage them to develop their potential. We encourage young people to set up workshops to encourage critical thinking. We connect young people and enable them to connect at the local, national and international levels. We offer support to organizations, young people, volunteers and youth workers. In recent years, as a partner organization, we have cooperated with the Prlekija Youth Center in Erasmus + projects. It is important for us that the Ljutomer community is a youth-friendly community that perceives and respects the interests of young people, which includes and gradually improves their lives. We are actively working on the following projects:
- youth strategy,
- list of young people,
- multigenerational community of the Pomurje center, Ljutomer unit,
- employees in the field of youth work in the youth sector.
