Mladiinfo Croatia

Mladiinfo Croatia is a new born organization established in 2013 as a part of Mladiinfo International network. Its main goal is to foster the creative and innovative potential of young people through the participation in mobility projects and educational programs that enable them to improve their skills and become more competitive on the job market.
By understanding youth issues and needs, Mladiinfo Croatia work is focused on the topics of youth unemployment, active citizenship, volunteering, non-formal education, eco-urban art, intercultural learning, communication/media/social media, culture, sustainability & environment protection, promotion and protection of minority rights, etc., all with the purpose to promote mobility, educational opportunities and young people’s active citizenship.

MISSION E VISION:
The initiative to establish Mladiinfo branch in Croatia spring up from a group of young people with a rich background in NGO sector that aims at promoting the development of intercultural competences, as well as active and participatory citizenship among youth in Croatia. The idea to establish the Mladiinfo branch in Croatia was thought by a group of young people with a rich background in THE NGO sector. The aim is to promote the development of intercultural competences, as well as activate the interest of it among young people in Croatia

OUR MAIN GOALS ARE:
• To raise awareness among young people in Croatia about available educational opportunities and how these can be relevant to improve their skills and become more competitive on the job market; • To support mobility in the education, training and youth sectors; • To develop the creative and innovative potential of young people through non-formal learning education in ways that are relevant to employability; • To increase intercultural dialog and cooperation between young people; • To foster solidarity and to promote mutual understanding between young people; • To increase international cooperation between NGO’s and private/public sector.

WHAT WE DO
The participation in a learning experience could be an important way in which young people can strengthen their future employability and acquire new professional competencies, while enhancing their development as active citizens. It helps them to it would give them the access to new knowledge and develop new linguistic and intercultural competencies.

OUR MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE:
• Youth information; • Implementation of international mobility projects such as youth exchanges, training courses, partnership building activities, job shadowing, etc. • Organization of events at local level, such as workshops, informative sessions, panel discussions, etc. • Participation in European Mobility Programes; • Working on the establishment of new international cooperation between NGO’s and private/public sector; • Development of common project ideas/activities among the network.
ABOUT THE NETWORK
Mladiinfo International Network promotes and mediates the communication between young people, students, professors, researchers, university officials, youth NGOs and all those involved in the educational process in Europe and worldwide. The initiative started in 2008 when Mladiinfo website - www.mladiinfo.eu - was founded as A platform for sharing information about international opportunities by a group of young Macedonians motivated by their own positive international experiences, who committed themselves to helping other young people improve their education, meet new cultures and develop their skills through life experience.

Today www.mladiinfo.eu has more than 180,000 page views per month with a random sample of youth worldwide. Above 20,000 of total visitors per month subscribe to the newsletter, and an average of 15 universities/organizations per week contact the network for content publishing. Except the website, today Mladiinfo’s work is based also on promoting international cooperation through the network and through the implementation of different activities\projects targeting youth from all over Europe. The network is composed of seven branches that are sharing mission and vision. The branches are independent non-profit organizations legally registered in their own home countries: Mladiinfo Slovakia, Mladiinfo Czech Republic, Mladiinfo Montenegro, Mladiinfo Slovenia, Mladiinfo Croatia, Mladiinfo Macedonia and Mladiinfo Albania
