Growing up is always an adventure. A journey that can be taken, sometimes, with trained staff, to better face the big and small difficulties of all ages and conditions. Step by step, towards a personal autonomy based on listening and taking care.
This sentiment leads us since 1991, when we started our first summer camp in Cascina Costa Alta, inside of Monza Park, not far from the International car circuit of Monza, the Eni Circuit.
Nowadays our activities have expanded, including separate but interconnected worlds: school and free time, city and natural environment, family and business, entertainment and situations of hardship, fragility and hospitality. Our services include: environmental education activities for schools and groups, summer camps, managing of accommodation facilities dedicated to social and tourist hospitality, social housing, youth centers, kindergartens and playgrounds, street education?, ancillary services for schools, home education and leisure activities for children, teenagers and families.
Our youth hostels, located between Milan and Como Lake, will host the residential campus.
Cascina Costa Alta, an historical building, is located inside Monza Park. Since 1991 is the location where our summer camps and projects of environmental education take place. Since 2001 it has been the first accommodation in the Park. In addition to the hostel, the building offers indoor multi-functional spaces and a restaurant area. The building has a convenient pedestrian access and it is surrounded by large fields which help to make it an ideal location for the leisure of everybody. The hostel offers 11 rooms (from 2 to 6 beds), 8 with private toilet,3 with shared bathroom.
Baggero Oasi Hostel is located inside of the natural area of "Oasi di Baggero" (Merone CO), a protected area with lakes, woods and scenic trails. Inaugurated in 2015, it is a completely new and eco-friendly complex, characterized by a modern environment and low energy impact solutions. The building where the hostel is located is one of the most relevant landmark of the environmental improvement of the Valle del Lambro Regional Park, with a modern Park Center, designed to offer activities dedicated to children and adults. The railway station of Merone is not far, only about 1300 meters from the hostel, and the trains are directly connected to Milano. The hostel offers 5 shared rooms (both with private or shared toilet) for a total of 25 beds: 2 quadruple rooms and 3 big 6 beds dormitory which are the best solutions for large and small groups. It also provides 3 private rooms ensuite, for a total of 10 more beds.
Since 1991 we have met over 15,000 people with our proposals, collaborating with more than 40 municipal administrations and local realities. We are currently an SME that employs 185 workers on a permanent basis.
Learning, living, discovering, having fun and, at the same time, growing up: our mission is to make sure that people are protagonists of their own lives/adventures. We spend our time to build places and communities welcoming and inclusive, where the meeting with and between diversities, is not a limit but a value that generates opportunities.
