Mersin Governorship

Mersin Governorate is an umbrella organization that coordinate all the public institutions in Mersin. There are Provincial Directorates affiliated to the Ministries in each different area, and the Governorships are responsible for the coordination and functioning of the work and operations of the Provincial Directorates. Mersin Governorship, which has dozens of different units and is responsible for organizing and supervising the general administration and general course of the province in all aspects, conducts local, national and international project works and processes through the European Union and Foreign Relations Office. Mersin Governorship is the first and only Eurodesk contact point in Mersin, accredited by the Turkish National Agency. With this mission, the institution is responsible for the development, dissemination and implementation of youth activities in Mersin. With the local and international projects and activities carried out in the field of youth, it organizes trainings, workshops, briefings and meetings for young people to be aware of and benefit from local and international opportunities.
