The Mediterranean Environmental and Economic Network (MEEN) is a Hatay-based NGO committed to fostering sustainable development in the Mediterranean region. MEEN supports local governments and communities in addressing environmental and economic challenges by promoting education, sustainable agriculture, disaster preparedness, and youth empowerment. With a multidisciplinary team of environmental engineers, project managers, and educators, MEEN designs and implements pilot projects, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building initiatives. The organisation has strong partnerships with municipalities, universities, and international networks across Europe, and actively contributes to EU-funded projects. By 2030, MEEN aspires to position the Mediterranean as a model of environmental sustainability and inclusive prosperity.
