Manisa Genclik Sancagi

Manisa Genclik Sancagi (Youth Sanjak of Manisa) is established to provide international experiences to young people in Manisa province by mobility programs thus we gathered under an informal group. This group welcomes anyone aged 15 – 30 for its activities. Manisa city’s history dates back to 3000BC and traces of Hittite, Frig, Lydia, Macedonian, Roman, Byzantine, Turkish States and Ottoman civilizations can be found. Particularly the city is known as city of princes who lived to be trained. On this occasion Sanjak means a lot for us, it has a deep historical tie and with this power, we believe that this group will also works as a private non formal education hub in deed. Our aim is to organize international meetings in Manisa to increase awareness rising, highlight the issues related to young people and try to involve all in.
