Maison des Volontaires

La Maison des Volontaires is an organization and a place dedicated to volunteering and mobility projects for young people. Our main aim is to promote and enhance volunteering's actors (volunteers and hosting organizations) and their actions. It is organized within 3 spaces :
- The "Home" : accommodation for volunteers coming from everywhere : all over France, Europe and even the world. We have hosted volunteers coming from Mexico or Korea. Within the volunteers, we organized projects and events where they can share what they do during their volunteering mission. They are also involved in the local life by a 2-hours-weekly action within a local organization from our neighborhood in order to develop social cohesion.
- The 'Lab" : is like a FabLab for the Young to inform, follow up on defining and realizing a volunteering project. We also follow up on organizations interested by hosting volunteers to define the mission and organize mentoring. Those works can be organized by individual meetings or workshop.
- The "Scene" : is a place where the events take place. It can be events organized by our volunteers, by their hosting organizations and/or by others organizations to gather their volunteers during workshop.
We are 2 employees: the managing director and a project manager.
