Maison de l'Europe des Yvelines

Created in 2001, the Maison de l’Europe des Yvelines (MdEY) is a NGO, Europe Direct information centre, member of the French Federation of Europe Houses. The MdEY is a link between the civil society and the European Union. It acts as a promoter or a partner in European projects in order to make people aware of European issues. Our main mission consists in informing and training citizens on the European Union. In order to accomplish this mission, we organise the following activities: information to visitors, distribution of documentation and pedagogical brochures, organisation of meetings, conferences, debates on Europe and its future, information Desk for OFAJ (French-German Youth Agency) and the YiA programme, organisation of European projects to increase the mobility of young people, of European events at regional level, animations in schools, organisation of visits to European institutions, etc. Our main activities are open to everybody, but we focus on young people between 12 and 30 years old.
