Magammal Viszem Alapítvány (MAVISZ)

Magammal Viszem Alapítvány (MAVISZ Foundation) is a Hungarian non-profit youth organisation based in Budapest, founded in March 2025. The foundation works in the fields of youth work, non-formal education, and community development, with a strong focus on social inclusion, mental well-being, competence development, and access to European opportunities.

MAVISZ designs and implements educational activities using non-formal, experiential, and participatory methods. Its work supports young people, youth workers, educators, and trainers in developing transversal competences such as conflict management, self-reflection, emotional awareness, communication, and active citizenship. A key element of the organisation’s approach is the creation of safe learning spaces that encourage dialogue, peer learning, and critical thinking.

Since June 2025, MAVISZ has been an official Eurodesk Partner in Hungary. In this role, the organisation regularly organises information sessions, meetings, and workshops in secondary schools and universities, providing young people with reliable and accessible information about European Union opportunities, including Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps, DiscoverEU, and youth participation initiatives.

MAVISZ also delivers empowerment-oriented workshops such as IamRemarkable, supporting participants—especially those from underrepresented or vulnerable groups—in recognising their achievements, strengthening self-confidence, and challenging limiting social norms related to self-promotion.

At local level, MAVISZ collaborates with Budapest’s District VIII (Józsefváros), an area with higher levels of social and economic disadvantage. The organisation works with young people from diverse and often vulnerable backgrounds, aiming to promote social inclusion, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence through educational activities addressing stereotypes, tensions, and conflict dynamics.

Although legally young, MAVISZ builds on the extensive experience of its board members and collaborators in Erasmus+, ESC, and international youth work. The organisation actively seeks partnerships for Erasmus+ Youth and cooperation projects, bringing added value through strong non-formal education expertise, inclusion-focused practice, and close connection to local realities.
