Lunova

Lunova is a digital life rehabilitation project aiming to offer holistic, personalized, and innovative solutions for individuals and their families struggling with addiction. Currently, it's an active start-up project under development within the Bilgiyi Ticarileştirme Merkezi (BTM - https://btm.istanbul/en/home ) Camp program. Our goal is to support individuals navigating the challenges of addiction and their close circles in achieving a healthy life. Lunova plans to overcome the limitations of traditional treatment approaches by integrating psychological, social, and legal support under one roof, thereby offering a comprehensive rehabilitation process.

In Turkey, key challenges in addiction treatment include insufficient capacity, medication-focused approaches, and limited access to specialists. Families often face a lack of awareness and fear of social stigma, leaving them isolated during the treatment journey. Lunova aims to address these critical issues: unlike traditional centers, we plan to use online therapy sessions to overcome geographical and economic barriers, reaching clients across Turkey. We will focus on sustainable recovery through entirely drug-free and natural methods. We aim to be there at every stage of the process with personalized online psychotherapy, online counseling, family support programs, and legal consultation when needed. A 12-month free follow-up program will be developed to minimize relapse risk, targeting long-term recovery. Additionally, our "Code Name: Youth" program seeks to educate young people about addiction risks and promote preventive measures before addiction develops.

Lunova's primary target audience will be individuals aged 15-65 struggling with various types of addiction, particularly substance addiction. Our priority will be those with chronic addiction issues, individuals seeking drug-free treatment, and those unable to access traditional centers due to geographical or physical limitations. Our secondary target audience will include families and close relatives of individuals with addiction. Furthermore, we plan to extend our services to employers seeking solutions for their employees' addiction problems and to at-risk young adults through our preventive programs, catering to a broad spectrum of needs.

Lunova's strength will come from its comprehensive, technology-backed infrastructure. Our platform, developed with modern technologies like Django and React, will feature an intelligent matching system. This system will assess users' needs and urgency based on detailed evaluation tests, then use AI-powered algorithms to automatically match them with the most suitable specialist. This aims to eliminate the common issue of "difficulty reaching the right expert." We plan to offer seamless online therapy sessions through FullCalendar.js for appointment management and Zoom API integration. Automated reminders and a 12-month follow-up program will support the recovery process. Our goal is to have an extensive network of qualified psychologists, family counselors, and legal professionals, along with valuable blog and article modules for users. Our data analytics-driven approach will enable us to monitor addiction trends and develop preventive strategies. Lunova aims to stand out by adopting a holistic model that addresses not only the symptoms of addiction but also its psychological, social, and legal dimensions. Through anonymous support groups and a community-based recovery model, we will strive to ensure individuals feel they are not alone in their struggle.

While similar services exist both domestically and internationally in addiction treatment, Lunova's approach incorporates several innovative features that set us apart. Traditional rehabilitation centers in Turkey typically focus on medication-based treatments and in-person sessions. Digital platforms abroad, like BetterHelp or Talkspace, often provide only psychological counseling. Lunova's key differentiators will include: we plan to offer a unique approach to addiction treatment by aiming to eliminate the use of medication and focusing on natural methods. We intend to provide multi-dimensional integration, offering family education and legal consulting services alongside psychological support on a single platform. We will offer a 12-month free follow-up program designed to actively monitor the post-treatment process and minimize relapse rates. Our intelligent matching system will ensure quick and automatic referrals to the most appropriate specialist based on the client's needs. We also aim to provide geographical accessibility, offering access to quality treatment from anywhere in Turkey, regardless of time or physical barriers.

In the medium to long term, we aim to evolve Lunova beyond just a therapy platform into a 24/7 active life support system for individuals with addiction. In line with this vision, we plan to implement the following innovative projects: we will develop a mobile application with a smart emergency button that will transmit location and medical information to 112 emergency services with a single tap during a crisis. We also aim to develop a biometric monitoring system integrated with wearable devices. This system will continuously track vital data like blood oxygen levels and pulse changes, automatically detecting critical situations such as overdose and alerting 112 when necessary. This system will be life-saving for individuals who are unconscious or unable to call for help. These systems will be designed with utmost sensitivity to data security and privacy, ensuring all data transmissions are end-to-end encrypted. We plan to launch pilot applications within the next 3 years and expand nationwide within 5 years.

As Lunova, we've been conducting intensive market research and technological infrastructure development since April 2025. We have established the basic structure of our website, completed the user interface design, and are currently integrating our Django-based backend system with React. Our efforts to build our expert team are ongoing, and we aim to complete our beta version and begin testing with selected users by the end of October 2025. We've also ensured KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law) compliance as part of our legal groundwork. Our revenue model will be based on a transparent "entitlement" mechanism for each professional service (therapy sessions, family counseling, legal support) offered on the platform. Fees paid by clients will be shared between the service provider and Lunova at predetermined rates, with Lunova's portion used for operational expenses like technology infrastructure, marketing, and customer service. We also aim to generate additional revenue through corporate collaborations and SGK (Social Security Institution) agreements. Lunova is positioned as an E-Health project in the Health and Social Services sector. It is currently at the prototype stage and is part of the Bilgiyi Ticarileştirme Merkezi (BTM - https://btm.istanbul/en/home ) Camp Program. Our project requires Ethical Committee approval. Lunova aims to be a beacon of hope in the fight against addiction and to promote a healthy lifestyle.
