Lota's box

LLota's box is founded in 2018.to promote values of democracy, active citizenship and equality. Our members and volunteers bring us their fields of expertise: entrepreneurs, marketing experts, doctors, physiotherapists, students, pupils, athletes. They come form different parts of Croatia and different social and ethnical backgrounds.
We are based in Zagreb, capital of Croatia and cooperation with organizations in other parts of Croatia. National projects are mostly based on activities related to youth in our community promoting lifelong learning, active citizenship, and European values. Main project were related to quality time spent together and well being for the local children: playing games, exchanging stickers, playing table tennis etc. We established the spot in our community where books can be exchanged.
Active in a field of development of Erasmus+ virtual exchanges, we promote Soliya’s Connect programme among youth in Croatia. We are in a pilot consortia that should bring out virtual exchange related to sport and identity topic.
We participate as partner in four Erasmus+ projects- youth exchanges and mobility of youth workers.
In order to support lifelong learning and active citizenship we are looking for free spaces where teenagers can learn together.
We support sustainable development by participation in trainings for capacity building of schools about sustainable development
We supported with our events Open days of NGOs, European Sustainable Development Week and Media Literacy Days.
We support education of our members in formal and informal learning, active citizenship and support for democracy. We are also active in the field of virtual exchanges.
Lota’sbox is member of ECAS- European Active Citizen Service and Anna Lindh Foundation: therefore we have access to their global networks in private and public sector.
