Léo Lagrange Nord offers to all, from the early childhood to older, educational activities. It’s not restricted to propose consumption leisure or “occupations”. It seeks to provide all the same access to knowledge, in line with the republican principles of justice and equality. In intervention areas as different as sports, cultural activities, consumer protection, fight against discrimination, training and volunteer work, international mobility, etc. Leo Lagrange implements its project through actions on the ground in the region.
It’s in this particular context that the delegation leads its action in Nord-Pas de Calais. Its seat is located in Lille, but it is the number of structures such as clubs, associations, social centers affiliated with Leo Lagrange which are the strenght of its action int the territory, as shown in the map below.
Thus, the delagation has a network of professionnal competence confirmed in the field of local animation : over than 20 professionnals, 3000 volunteers, 7500 members and 21000 users.
For example, the club of Armentières, which exists since 1965, proposes many sports or cultural activities, and develops actions to promote training and socioprofessionnal inclusion.
The club of Somain, created in 1967, mainly supports people with difficulties by introducing actions promoting social and vocational integration.
Farm Beaurepaire, based in Boulogne-sur-Mer, submits youth projects, organizes work camps to raise environment awareness.
This network provides opportunities for European mobility development across the Nord-Pas de Calais.
We are looking for short-term EVS (around 6 weeks), between May and December 2014. The activities would be adapted to young people with fewer opportunities
