Liepājas Vieglatlētikas klubs/ Liepāja Athletic Club

Liepaja Athletic Club (LVK) was founded in 2010 when former track and field athletes joined together in order to continue their athletic development and increased capacities to encourage citizens to participate in sport and health-enhancing physical activity and to involve those who are at risk of social exclusion. Furthermore, LVK is aimed at helping young athletes to develop their entrepreneurial competences and leadership opportunities by means of technologies in order to be more competitive in their future careers after finishing their sports career. In addition, we organise youth evenings where young people meet and cooperate in order to improve their knowledge about healthy and active lifestyle.
