Le Fagotin

Created in 1995 on the initiative of a small group of volunteers, Le Fagotin has gradually developed its activities until it has become a key player in environmental education in the belgian Ardennes.
Today, the association is a rural eco-educational center, benefiting from the label of Youth Center, Nature Center, Educationnal Farm and Social Tourism.
Our close collaboration with various local partners, coming from the environmental sector or not, allows us to develop many innovative and original activities and to reach a public sometimes hermetic to the questions of sustainability.
Summer and winter, the Fagotin team, made up of experienced animators, offers training courses, green classes, workshops, walks, guides, training, meetings... in order to share with everyone, especially young people, the richness of Walloon natural heritage.
Far from the so-called traditional methods, Le Fagotin proposes an innovative pedagogy in connection with the Living: sensitive approach, critical spirit, creativity, integration... Our methods are evolutionary, adaptive and anchored in the reality.

The goal of the association is to encourage its public, in particular young people, to become Responsible, Active, Critical and United Citizens. To do so, it relies on the essential, but not exhaustive, values of citizenship, sustainability, solidarity and benevolence. These values are carried and shared through an Education on the Environment and Sustainable Development.
