We are an organization with extensive experience in international and youth work. We use the methodology of non-formal education in our work to foster young people to be active, responsible, enterprising individuals by immersing them in real learning experiences, where they can plan and manage projects, adapt to changes, deal with risk, and acquire problem-solving skills. Also, we try to debate main obstacles for active participation of youths in different levels and to understand a variety of contexts in which young people may have special needs, (rural areas, big towns, minorities, youth with different forms of lack of opportunities, etc). So, Intercultural education using non formal methods will allow participants to learn in a positive and relaxed environment, giving them the opportunity to raise their self-confidence, go beyond stereotypes, meet new people and get to know new cultures, to gain new skills, competencies and attitudes.
We have a space in the Granada Council to inform about European programs to young people. We also organize seminars and trainings about teamwork, to encourage young people to actively participate in society, promote activism and further cooperation. Also, we try to encourage personal growth, positive interaction, social inclusion and active participation of young people from different social backgrounds by involving them in a youth exchange that will develop their key competences.
We work with different administrations, schools, NGOs and informal groups of young people promoting dialogue and cooperative work to establish an online platform with tools, tips and materials that may be used by involved partners and participants in future.
