Larnaca Cultural Foundation for Children and Youth

The Larnaca Cultural Foundation for Children and Youth is a Cyprus-based organisation dedicated to fostering youth engagement through arts, culture, and education. Its work focuses on participatory and community-based cultural practices that encourage creativity, inclusion, and active civic involvement.

The Foundation develops and implements programmes that connect artistic expression with social and educational processes, working closely with schools, local communities, artists, and cultural professionals. Through interdisciplinary approaches—including storytelling, visual arts, performance, and heritage-based activities—it creates spaces for young people to explore identity, imagination, and collective belonging.

Currently, the organisation is contributing to the development of the CARE Festival within the framework of Larnaka 2030 ECoC, exploring care as a cultural practice and a tool for social connection, collaboration, and transformation. The Foundation is interested in international partnerships that bring together culture, education, and youth work, particularly within European and Mediterranean contexts.
