LAG SAVA

LAG SAVA was established in 2013 as an association that includes 11 Municipalities and Cities in the Zagreb County. The association's work covers area of 781,82 km2 along the banks of river Sava. More than 120 000 people who live in the same area are the main beneficiaries of our work. The association is dedicated to LEADER principles in its work and focuses on the development of the rural area through various segments.
Members of our association are municipalities, cities, other non-profit organisations from Zagreb County as well as representatives of business sector.
At the moment LAG employs three persons and is working on establishing bigger and stronger volunteer network in the local area. Through our work we put emphasis on rural youth in different aspects of our work (rural youth in agriculture, rural youth and job market).
LAG's projects are funded from national and European funds - the rural development program and the European Social Fund.
We are new to Erasmus+, however we hope to establish successful partnerships with other organisations focused on securing more opportunities for young people.
