La Locomotiva ONLUS

La Locomotiva ONLUS is a voluntary NGO organization, a social cooperative as constituted in Italy. It is an umbrella organization providing a focus and coordination to enhance leadership and build capacity in the Voluntary sector. La Locomotiva is strongly motivated; it has a vocation to change lives, building social and economic capacity in the Third sector. Its social educators offer its members an opportunity to improve their social and management skills, the organization works in partnership with community activists to improve the social integration of many disenfranchised target groups including - unemployed, economic migrants, minorities, orphans and street children, the homeless, immigrants, refugees, adults with learning difficulties/literacy and numeracy issues, prostitutes and ex prisoners. La Locomotiva ONLUS has twelve members, fifty collaborators, many volunteers, with a large network of contacts in the community in Naples and Caserta areas.
