La Candela - Teatro y Comunidad

La Candela Teatro y Comunidad is formed by transdisciplinary group of professionals coming from different fields: theater, arts, education and social work. We think that theater is a tool to make society more inclusive, empathetic and supportive.

We create theater shows, facilitate workshops and trainings and develop projects in which the participants are truly protagonist of the experience, also collaborating with different partners.

For us, theater and arts are educative tools to enhance participation and inclusion; to reflect and act facing social conflicts, discrimination, diversity, interculturality, environment sustainability, education for peace, social harmony, global citizenship, equity, etc.

Topics we deal with: mental health, migrations, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+. gender equality, violence against women, participation, Human Rights, conflicts resolution, SDG, bullying, racism, etc.
