Krila-terapijsko jahanje

WINGS - THERAPEUTIC RIDING provides therapeutic horseback riding for children and young people with Cerebral Palsy. It is located in Zagreb, Maksimir neighborhood, on the farm 7 km away from the main square, Ban Jelacic Square. Size is 4.5 hectares and consists of three stables, 4 outlets, 2-riding and pasture, and we have 11 horses. Accessible public transport is at the entrance to the estate. Opening hours of the association is seven days a week from 8.00 to 20.00, on all holidays and vacations. The association is among the top 10 organizations in Croatia related to volunteer work. Volunteers - mostly young people aged 15-35 years, 80% female, different levels of education. Daily about 15 volunteers working in the association, on average, two hours from 8.00 to 20.00. Annually in association volunteers about 250 volunteers, mostly from Croatia, and about 10% of volunteers are foreigners. Volunteers clean the stables and outlets, food horses, guides the horse in therapy, the therapist assistants in therapy, working admistritivne jobs, are involved in the organization of all događnja inside and outside organizations (various trade shows, promotional activities, ...).
