Kosovo in Movement NGO

Kosovo in Movement is a legitimized non-profit and non-governmental organization based in Prishtina, Kosovo. KiM has been operational since January 2013. The organization perceives a vision of Kosovo in “Movement”, with a healthy and active youth, supportive in all aspects of society.
To accomplish our vision, the organization so far has participated and organized various events with environment, social, cultural and artistic context with the main goal of promoting and preserving the cultural and natural values of Kosovo. Activities that Kosovo in Movement accomplished vary in different natures. We have dealt with different organisations and events, managing and organizing exhibitions and lectures on subjects regarding culture cognizance, inter-ethnic reconciliation, maintenance and restoration of buildings with heritage value, architectural heritage, environmental protection etc.
Furthermore KiM participated in academic researches by the help of student volunteers and professors around Kosovo. One of the academic researches is the “Efficiency Roofs (green technology) research for the city of Pristina, which was published in UBT newspaper, and was largely transmitted throughout the media in Kosovo. We also had workshops regarding cultural architectural heritage of Kosovo, with architecture students from Kosovo and the region.
Due to our active members with different backgrounds, our organisation has grown successfully into an effective body of the social groups in Kosovo. We count up to 26 members, 4 paid workers, and dozens of volunteers that supports us in our projects.
