Klub prekmurskih študentov

The work of the Prekmurje Student Club is oriented towards meeting diverse and specific needs of students and pupils in the Pomurje region aged from 16 to 26. We offer young people a wide range of activities with well-targeted and high-quality projects. According to this, we facilitate formal education and also enable acquisition of necessary skills in other areas. We are aware of the fact that the period of formal education is very stressful which is why we also offer activities that provide relaxation and fun. However, as a socially-oriented and cultural organization, we promote a healthy and socially responsible way of life. The Prekurje Student Club has been the center of cultural activities among/for young people in the Pomurje region for more than 80 years and is the oldest student's club in Slovenia which makes it very important not only for the region and but also for the nation as a whole. The Student Club of Prekmurje has been bringing together young activists for more than 80 years which means it represents a vital organization for raising awareness about the importance of active participation of young people in the region.
All our projects are designed in a way of including the widest circle of students and pupils as possible. We strive towards ensuring they are actively involved, and facilitating the exchange of experiences and knowledge to younger generations. Our projects offer concrete benefits and useful knowledge that can be used later in life. In addition to project work we institute networks and build relationships with local organizations and relationships between students/pupils and local organizations.
We organize 37 projects in the field of culture, social service, health service, education, extra-curricular activities, entertainment, international cooperation, providing information, cooperation with other organization and student clubs and promotion. Our projects also base on standing up for Student interests in the Pomurje area.
