KiYC Youth Club and KiYC "Drop In" operates for Youths 11+ to provide a safe relaxed environment. In line with the 2001 act, all participation and attendance by the youth is on a voluntary basis. Our work is street and premises based. Attendance is relatively equal in regards to gender. We are open to all youth, regardless of religion, culture and ability. We constantly re-evaluate all activities, programs and projects, and act on the results to provide a the best possible youth service. All our leaders are trained as both leaders and in Child Protection, Garda Vetting is required by all volunteers, both Junior and Senior. Two of our Volunteers are Youth Workers. Both the "Drop In" and the Youth Club have individual committees.
