Kazakh National Academy of Choreography

Our Academy – is the first higher education institution in Central Asia with the complete educational program in the field of choreography, which includes elementary school, undergraduate and postgraduate programs (masters and PhD degrees).

The Artistic director of the Academy is Altynai Asylmuratova, Prima Ballerina of the Mariinsky Theatre, guest Prima Ballerina of Royal Opera House (Covent Garden) and the Ballet National de Marseille, People's Artist of Russia, Artistic director of the ballet company of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre “Astana Opera".

The Academy is highly interested in the development of its professional activity and expansion of new collaboration opportunities for increasing effectiveness and quality of educational process in the field of choreographic art, and therefore, highly interested in developing exchange in the framework of Erasmus + (credit mobility, capacity building) projects, bilateral academic mobility programs or developing dual-degree programs in “Ballet artist”, “Dance ensemble artist”, “Choreography”, “Art Studies” and “Art Management”. On our part, we are open to receive your students and faculty for exchange and provide them with all the best studying/teaching practices.
