Kawon for art and culture

Kawon- once upon a time, is determined to become a daily necessity for local people, visitors and tourists from all around, a place to dream of as you try to escape the daily stresses of life and experience something new, a comfortable place to meet your friends or to read a book, all in one. With the growing demand for high-quality gourmet coffee, food and great service, Kawon Culture will capitalize on its proximity to the City of Madaba and its surroundings, we seek to build a healthy environment, where cultural activities and knowledge sharing fuse to evoke and spread new social values. and through out its unique selection of books, Kawon's bookshop will bring a special experience with book culture to its visitors.
Kawon will make its best efforts to create a unique place where visitors can socialize with each other in a comfortable and relaxing environment while enjoying the best brewed coffee and local food in town. Food selection will be from the heart of the Madabian home, reflecting seasonal local food, Kawons kitchen will adapt itself to fit every seasons specialty, where ingredients such as herbs and some vegies, will be produced at Kawon's organic garden, merged with the space, to bring an extra exquisite experience in local culture.
The space is located in one of the oldest buildings in Madaba, loved for its old architecture, dating back to 1932, located between Saint George church and the city police station, connecting Downtown, the busy old heart of the city and Kawon, a neighborhood bursting with ambitious start-ups. The building was renovated by us, it also includes a lovely Garden, a reading area and a kitchen
Kawon culture will host many social activities and workshops for its neighboring community, such as open air cinema, concerts, reading club, upcycling workshops, gardening workshops…etc.
