A few words about Kaunas “Vyturys“ gymnasium
Kauno "Vyturys" secondary school was established in 1968 in Kaunas city, Lithuania. As gymnasium "Vyturys" was accredited in 2015 year. By the time it was called Kaunas “Vyturys“ Catholic Secondary School.
Currently gymnasium implementing pre-primary, primary and secondary accredited educational programs. It learns 1200 students 6-19 years of age.
Gymnasium activities implemented distinctive elements of Catholic education programs include The Salesiana 'charter mission. High school students participate in the gymnasium's self-government, various public organizations, volunteer projects.
There is an instrumental music department where after school about 200 children to learn to play various musical instruments (piano, accordion, violin, guitar, saxophone, Lithuanian folk instruments).
