Kaleidoscopio

The organisation is actually composed by 5 members, and several collaborators. Three of the members, are experienced trainers that work since many years on our territory using local and national founds to run projects for immigrants and interculturality. The actions prevented in the projects are mainly:
• workshops in schools for young people aged from 8 to 19, about interculturality, peace education, globalization and alternative commerce.
• Help desks for immigrants.
• Educational projects on the territory.
• Training courses for teachers, professors and adults in general.
• Sending Evs Volunteers.
To realize all of this projects we strongly collaborate with municipalities, associations and local communities, as we think it’s necessary to provide quality projects.
One of the member is also a very experienced trainer at European level, particularly for SALTO Euromed, while another one has a big experience in cooperation, development and post conflict rehabilitation processes. All of this experiences are also used to develop international projects in the YiA program and in Grundtvig program. An other member, is a trainer that performs her trainings with dances and other subconscious suggestion, working on the emotions.Then one member works especially with youngsters, but he already had many experiences in YiA program, particularly exchanges, and in educational processes working with minor immigrants. And the last joined member is a trainer that runs mainly international projects, but he also work with youngsters and aduls on the territory.
We work everyday to facilitate the integration process in a territory where the absence of economical problems (before the crisis), and a high level of individualism make people somehow lazy to explore and to get in contact with other people. The information they get come mainly from the television that actually is a big problem in Italy, manipulating events. Those main obstacles, in co-action with many others (like sterotipes and prejudices), make people xenophobic, overall due to ignorance. We are actually challenging this ignorance, trying to open people to know the difference and not to be scared from both sides. By the other hand we also furnish cultural help and useful information for immigrants to help them to know better where they live and how todo things.
Kaleidoscopio often collaborates with many other associations active in similar fields somehow creating a non-formal net
