Kärdla Basic School

Kärdla Basic School is a general nine-year comprehensive school providing compulsory education to students aged 7-16. Basic education serves as the mandatory minimum of general education requirement in Estonia.

Kärdla Basic School is one out of five educational institutions offering basic education on the island of Hiiumaa, and is the largest general basic education institution on the island.

All students are accepted without student admission criteria and selections, in addition to the regular general studies, Kärdla Basic School also provides modified curricula and adaptation class studies as well as study opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities.
