Juzoor for health and social development

Juzoor Foundation is a Palestinian NGO based in 1996 and it’s dedicated to improve the well-being of Palestinian youth and families and promoting respect for human rights.

The Jerusalem Youth Parliament JYP is a youth body that was found in 2006 to be organized as a union of one mutual educational, social and national attitude in the Palestine community through democratic mode. The JYP actions are basically intervened in schools which are considered as one of the most important social institutions in the community. Youth are always in need for such program, which basically focuses offering youth a platform to express their concerns, to develop their leadership skills, to be active citizens, and to build their future. We organize activities such: trainings, seminars, youth exchanges, and EVS projects as sending and hosting organization. Our target groups are children in high schools, youth in universities, and graduated students. The main subjects we focus on: Euromed dimension, intercultural learning, youth participation and active citizenship, Human Rights education, volunteering, democracy, and social inclusion. JYP is dedicated to provide youth with opportunities to play their active role of participation in their community and the EuroMed region.
The JYP relays on the Non-Formal Education and Active Learning methodologies and to be used with children and youth.
