Youth Vision Association (JA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, which is founded in 2022 in Stuttgart Germany. JA promotes sustainable development goals, youth entrepreneurship, youth leadership, and innovation within the scope of nonformal education methods combined with new technologies. We especially, focus on the young people who live on the margins (e.g. from disadvantaged areas) to support their inclusion in society. Our main aim is to offer them a tool for their personal development and to encourage them to take leadership roles while creating awareness of SDGs, to respect our society, nature and well-being. At a national level, JA also fosters dialogue between local and regional authorities, universities, foundations, and other non-governmental organizations focused on enhancing entrepreneurship, digital learning, training, and personal development skills.
Objectives:
• Promote young people to learn new skills via non-formal education activities and technological tools,
• Enabling young people to be leaders and entrepreneurs of today while fostering their employability skills; while creating positive, motivating, and encouraging ambient for active entrepreneurship spirit in the society.
• Creating awareness on SDG’s while respecting our society, nature, and well-being
• Promote inclusion of (disadvantaged) group of young people to experience intercultural environment and overcome conflicts in society such as discrimination, and hate.
• To enhance and support the youth mobility on national and international level.
• To promote and develop the idea of fair trade on national and international level.
• Promotion and application of the non-formal education.
Working Areas:
• SDG’s, entrepreneurship, leadership, interculturality, employability, environmental awareness, creative/critical thinking, conflict resolution, art, soft skills, digital skills, well-being.
Target Group:
• Young people ages between 16-30 who live on the margins. We are an active NGO in Stuttgart, Bad Canstatt neighbourhood. Our neighbourhood is the most intercultural one in Stuttgart and includes diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds. Most of the population consist of migrants; also there are refugee camps. Therefore our target consist of disadvantaged people, fewer opportunies, migrants to foster intercultural interaction and harmony.
We consider volunteering as an effective way for youth to gain knowledge and experience in different fields, develop their soft skills and put a base for their further career - employment or entrepreneurship.
