Jugenddienst Meran

Jugenddienst Meran is a youth association that operates since 1983 in the local area of Merano (South Tyrol – Italy). Our aim is to inforce, support and facilitate youth work in all its colors. We support the voluntary Youth work and participation processes in 10 towns and citys, facilitate 4 YouthCenters, Streetworkers, a work-integration project and a Youth Informtation center. With 24 employees we work together with another 300 voluntaries in the whole area to reach kids and young people aged 8-30. European Projects are handled by our Youth Information Centre, which has the aim to get young people access to information that supports their development: up-to-date, relevant and appropriate for young people, so that they can grow to be independent, active and participating europeans. For this we work together with other associations, organizations and schools.
