Jugend Eine Welt

Jugend Eine Welt – Don Bosco Action Austria is an internationally active non-profit organisation committed to improving the living conditions of children and young people worldwide. Since its founding in 1997, the organisation has focused on education, youth empowerment, and sustainable development, guided by the principles of solidarity, social justice, and human dignity. Our work is inspired by the pedagogical approach of Don Bosco, which places young people—especially those who are disadvantaged or at risk—at the centre of all initiatives.

At the international level, Jugend Eine Welt cooperates with a strong network of trusted partners, especially Don Bosco organisations, to implement long-term development programmes in areas such as quality education, vocational training, child protection, social inclusion, and community development. Projects aim to strengthen local structures, promote equal opportunities, and create pathways for young people to build independent and self-determined lives.

In Austria, Jugend Eine Welt carries out broad awareness-raising and educational work, focusing particularly on child labour, fair global supply chains, human rights, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through campaigns, educational materials, workshops, and public events, the organisation encourages young people and adults to engage with global issues and to contribute to a more just world.

Additionally, Jugend Eine Welt coordinates international volunteer programmes, giving young adults the opportunity to contribute to social projects abroad while developing global competencies and intercultural understanding.

As an experienced European project participant, Jugend Eine Welt has successfully planned and implemented two Erasmus+ KA2 projects, contributing expertise in youth work, development education, and cross-sector cooperation. These experiences underline the organisation’s capacity to manage complex international partnerships and deliver high-quality project results.
