Jins Scouting Hoboken

Scouting Hoboken is a local Scout group in Hoboken for young members aged 5 to 18. The group is divided into five age sections, each guided by dedicated leaders. Every Sunday, we meet for “vergadering,” a weekly gathering filled with fun games, outdoor adventures, and creative activities organized by our leaders.

Our section is the final age group before becoming leaders ourselves. This year acts as a transition: we are still members, but we begin learning how to lead. We organize several events, take on different small jobs to raise funds, and prepare for our summer camp abroad. During this year, we also complete internships within the group, helping lead activities for the youngest sections.

For our international camp this summer, we aim to collaborate through Erasmus+ with other youth organizations abroad. This exchange will help us learn new skills, explore different cultures, and strengthen international friendships through Scouting.
