In 1970 one classroom and one apartment was added to the building. In 1983, a school building with eight classrooms was built. After primary schools evolved to elementary schools, the name of our school was changed to Esenyurt Cumhuriyet Elementary School. In 1998, Esenyurt Municipality donated our school a 2500m2 area to build a school with 20 classrooms and this school started education in 1999-2000 academic year. The school was related to Büyükçekmece Municipality till 2008, but after the status change of Esenyurt Municipality in 20.08.2008 our school continued to operate depending on the Esenyurt district. After 27.07.2009 buildings of our school were started to strenghten due to earthquake regulations, and after the completion of this process, our school continued operating in the second semester of 2009-2010 academic year. In 2011, our old building which has 8 classrooms were demolished and our school continued to operate in a single building with 20 classrooms.
