İskenderun T Type Closed Prison Institution is a public correctional facility operating under the Turkish Ministry of Justice. The institution ensures the execution of sentences within a high-security closed prison system, focusing on custody, safety and institutional order. In addition to security and enforcement duties, the institution implements structured improvement-oriented practices aimed at supporting inmates’ personal development, responsibility awareness and preparation for lawful social life. The staff consists of experienced correctional officers, educators and specialists working in a controlled and regulated custodial environment.
