International ceramics centre Atelier Janja Gora

Founded in 2006 our organization aims to develop art and cultural exchange based on ceramic art and working with clay as primal material, also seen as an opportunity for overall development of the disadvantaged region.
Organization is internationally active in promotion of ceramic art and knowledge sharing, organizing international exhibition with partners from the world. Second and most important activity is development of the post-war region, based on the creative expression and use of the creative work to overcame political, economical and social instability. Main focus is working with children and youth, giving them the chance to develop and explore their creativity by participating in different workshops and programs organized by Atelier Janja Gora. Working with this vulnerable groups can help in development of more stable and relaxer growing up process, offering more possibilities and different points of view, very much needed in this troubled areas.
All of the activity's are based on the principals of democratic education, meaning a new point of view and contributing to the rising of the overall democracy awareness of this new world citizens.
