Intercultural Dialogue Platform

Intercultural Dialogue Platform (IDP) is a non-profit civil society organization, aiming at mutual understanding and harmonious interaction among the people of different cultural backgrounds. The official launch of the platform is a result of voluntary works that have been concentrated to facilitate deeper understanding and to contribute community cohesion. Founded in 2000, IDP fosters debate and analysis on issues such as inter-cultural and inter-faith dialogue, social cohesion and peaceful co-existence both in Belgian and European context. IDP as well tries to stimulate thinking and exchange of perspectives and experiences on relevant topics. The Platform supports cooperation with individuals and organizations similarly interested in the promotion of cultural harmony and eradication of prejudices. Through its publications and activities at local and EU level, IDP aims to make a practical contribution to the decision-making processes in pertinent areas.
