INNOVILLAGE MOLDOVA

InnoVillage is a Moldovan non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing smart tourism, digital innovation, and community-driven development in rural areas. We work to empower villages to become visible, culturally valued, and economically resilient by integrating creative industries, local heritage, and practical digital tools.

Our flagship product, Village Travel Bot, is the first multilingual digital assistant for rural tourism in Moldova, offering fast, user-friendly access to information about over 170 villages and heritage sites. Co-created with local communities, VTB enhances destination visibility, supports local entrepreneurs, and promotes authentic cultural experiences.

InnoVillage designs and implements programs that strengthen digital skills, stimulate youth engagement, and support the development of sustainable tourism products. We collaborate with local authorities, schools, GALs/LEADER groups, national institutions, and international partners across the Eastern Partnership and EU to build capacity, share good practices, and develop scalable models for rural innovation.

Through training, mapping initiatives, digital storytelling, and cross-sector cooperation, InnoVillage helps communities identify their resources, shape their narratives, and transform them into strategic assets for regional development.
