Innovators' Initiative

Innovators' Initiative is a youth-driven organization formed by young educators, volunteers, and changemakers who are committed to empowering young people via international discussion, non-formal education, and active democratic involvement. Our mission is to build inclusive, knowledgeable, and socially responsible young communities across Europe and beyond.

Innovators' Initiative, founded in Turkey and motivated by a strong dedication to solidarity, innovation, and European ideals, has actively engaged in a number of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs. These include youth exchange programs, advocacy trainings, environmental awareness campaigns, disaster preparedness projects, and diplomacy and leadership simulations. Through these experiences, our members have developed extensive knowledge of youth work, project coordination, international mobility, and cross-sector collaboration.

Our primary areas of interest include environmental sustainability, youth entrepreneurship, intercultural learning, catastrophe risk reduction, digital literacy, language education, and social inclusion. We are firm believers in the ability of non-formal education methods—such as workshops, simulations, role plays, storytelling, and outdoor learning—to promote lifetime skills like critical thinking, leadership, empathy, and cooperation.

We also place a strong focus on volunteerism and civic participation. Our members are actively involved in both local and international efforts, including as AFAD (Turkey's disaster management body), ESC volunteering in Thessaloniki, and other cross-border Erasmus+ projects.

At the Innovators' Initiative, we want to form long-term collaborations with like-minded groups to co-create significant initiatives that solve shared youth issues. Whether via exchanges, capacity-building, or solidarity activities, we are eager to work, contribute, and grow with our European friends.
