Il Lievito società cooperativa sociale

Social Cooperative " Il Lievito ", based in Venice-Mestre, Italy, was founded in 1997. We have no profit motive and its general principles are related to the mutual fund according to the Italian Civil Code .
The main objective of the cooperative is to promote the individual and their rights , especially of those who are in situation of difficulty.
The principal activities of the cooperative Il Lievito are:
1. educational and rehabilitation projects for children with disabilities who are in some centers of the Cooperative ;
2. promotion of parenting and family through practical and psychological support , with particular attention to families with one parent and training of parents in children's education sites such as schools , playgrounds , spaces where to discover the dialogue and the importance of the game; teen centers where they can take responsibility through education between stoppages (peer education) .
3 . Service for unaccompanied foreign minors in family homes ;
4 . Homes for children with problem families , for children who have committed crimes , for children who have problems with their parents , for women with children ...
5 . Selection and management of educators who work in the centers;
6 . Promotion and management of training courses for personnel ;
7. Organization of seminars , conferences;
8 . Network Working with associations and organizations private and public sector doing similar work .
The Cooperative works through contracts with Public or Private Institutions .
The Cooperative runs a family home for women with young children, called “Casa Santa Chiara”, where women live in a situation of economic and personal difficulties.
From January 2003 to June 2008 the cooperative had a nursery school for children aged 6 months to 3 years.
The project has been very successful , the promotion had intended s capacities of children through play , a fundamental instrument to help and develop healthy persons and also was coming down to support the difficult task of education by the family.
