Identoba is one of Georgia’s premier multi-issue LGBT & general human rights NGOs committed to social change, community organization, education, and policy reform. Founded in 2010, Identoba seeks to end discrimination and systemic oppression of Georgia’s marginalized communities, particularly LGBT persons, women, disabled, disadvantaged youth, and Roma communities. Identoba envisions a common good that acknowledges the intrinsic diversity of Georgian civil society, promoting the active integration of the marginalized into public life. Through our research publications, journalism, community organization, and policy work, Identoba aims to center the narratives of minority voices in the entirety of our work – advancing their visibility in the public consciousness and national dialogue. We work in the following areas:Research & Policy Reform, Education & Community Organizing and Media & Public Action
