Aims and Activities
Our primary aim is to transition beneficiaries from dependency to self-reliance. Our activities include:
Running a Free Skill Empowerment Training Academy for marginalized youth.
Distributing Livelihood Toolkits to ensure project sustainability.
Conducting Mindset Reformation workshops in schools and local communities.
Advocating for the rights and healthcare of women and children in rural Ghana.
The organisation works with young people, students, youth workers, teachers and community leaders within the Ga North Municipality and surrounding communities. Our activities focus on leadership development, mindset education, character formation, employability skills, entrepreneurship awareness and active citizenship for disadvantaged youth.
HEF-GH implements non-formal education programmes including training workshops, mentoring sessions, school outreach activities and community engagement initiatives. We collaborate with the Ghana Education Directorate, local government authorities and community stakeholders to improve youth participation, social inclusion and community development.
Our organisation has experience in organising youth training programmes, community sensitisation campaigns and capacity building workshops. We provide safe learning spaces for young people to develop life skills, communication skills, teamwork and self-confidence. We also promote volunteerism and youth participation in civic and social activities.
HEF-GH is interested in international cooperation to strengthen youth work methodologies, improve organisational management, develop youth worker competences and introduce innovative educational approaches. Through Erasmus+ partnerships, we aim to exchange good practices, build staff capacity and expand opportunities for young people in Ghana, especially those facing social and economic barriers.
