Hmarochos

Online media NGO, Hmarochos, is a progressive independent media organization. Hmarochos is a pivotal player in the overall vision for journalistic media in Ukraine. At the core, Hmarochos is a productive team of eleven people that have curated 700,000 unique visitors per month and more than 1,500,000 page views per month from Kyiv and other populated Ukrainian cities.

OUR MISSION
The non-governmental organization, Hmarochos, informs residents from prominent Ukrainian cities and creates a space to share and grow progressive concepts such as sustainable development, good governance, open society, inclusiveness, and solidarity in Ukrainian society.

OUR VISION
We aspire to create large-scale public discussions that will take place in major Ukrainian cities over the next ten years, thanks to our activities and influence. We will involve all stakeholders and representatives of various ideologies interested in civic development and principles of an open and inclusive society. We will engage these groups with critical thinking and decision-making practices verified by data. Our verified media practices will become the common ground for citizens to learn and understand the politics around them.

In ten years, we see the following changes occur:
● Civil servants will adjust their activities to work in the interests of society and not in private interests;
● The businesses will widely implement principles of sustainable development in their actions;
● Citizens will adopt a culture of critical thinking, open society, and solidarity in daily activities;
● The focus of all stakeholders will be a responsible attitude to nature and the environment.
