Hiiumaa Noorsootöö Keskus

Hiiumaa Youth Work Centre provides local and provincial qualitative open youth work for all youngsters between age 7-26. The organisation includes three houses: Kärdla Youth House, Kõrgessaare Youth House and Counselling Service.

* counselling service for youngsters
* youth information
* specialized youth work services
* international youth work
* youth projects and work camps
* open youth work: provide activities for youngsters to spend their spare time
* preventative activities, mobile youth work
* supporting youth initiative and participation
* co-work with youth work agents in Estonia and abroad

The organisation fulfills youngster's spare time and encourages development of the youth work. The priorities are to provide an opportunity for self-development through different activities, support their personal improvement and their socialising skills in the society.

Youngsters can come to the youth house and use the Internet, play different board games, pool, x-box and wii, listen to the music, meet friends, use band equipment and borrow roller skates and scooters. Lots of events are held like music and handicraft workshops, camps. All youth health related activities are supported, for example snow board and skiing studies and different trainings.

Youngsters can come to the counselling service to find information about health, schools, activities and other opportunities or get help by youth counselor.
