The aims of the association are:
 Create a space to give visibility, recognition and encounter to the Afrodescendant community and its diaspora, paying special attention to women, children and youth.
 To bring people of all ages closer to the complex reality of people of African descent from a gender perspective.
 Raise awareness of stereotypes, racism and machismo-sexism from an Afrodescendant and gender perspective.
 To contribute to the empowerment and visualization of the Afrodescendant community. Bring Afro-descendant references closer to children.
 Improve the position of black women in their jobs, especially in theatre and cinema.
 Build bridges between white families with adopted sons or daughters and the black community.
 To develop, relate and interpret our history through a dramatic, inclusive and respectful narrative, turning black people into protagonists of stories, stories, narratives, cinema, tv, theatre. Facilitate dialogues for the creation of new female Afro-female dramaturgies.

 Show the artistic works of any discipline created by Afro-descendants and their diaspora.
 researching new theatrical forms and promoting Afro-Spanish theatre
 To create a network of Afro artists theatre between Spain, the rest of Europe and Latin America in order to generate an inter-regional dialogue and implement strategies for the valuation and development of a dramaturgy that contains us, the artistic promotion of creations and implement future artistic exchanges that allow us to strengthen creative ties.
 To promote intercultural dialogue and reflection on diversity through artistic expression, theatre. Fostering dignity and respect between people and collectives
 Establish communication channels with public and private institutions to transmit the demands derived from the needs and problems of the community in order to influence the policies of these institutions.
 To establish appropriate relations with the organizations, entities and networks whose aims are related to the association with the aim of exchanging experiences, collaborating and providing support through the different artistic disciplines, literature, theatre, debates and different related workshops.

To achieve its aims, the association carries out the following activities:
 plays, audiovisual productions, poetry recitals, exhibitions, competitions...
 Curl fest, Black Barcelona - meeting of Afro-descendants, Black Barcelona Education and Referrals,
 Organize Youth Exchanges in order to represent and raise awareness of Spanish and European society about the various problems that European people of African or black origin are experiencing today and to provide the opportunity for these young people to participate in projects that empower them and help them to grow as people.
 Seminars and debates
 Workshops on Microracism, black feminisms and identity
 edition of the Afro agenda that compiles all the information on people of African descent in the Spanish Territory
 Parents' school
 self-management parties, outdoor activities on the public thoroughfare, concerts, conferences, markets and any artistic discipline to achieve the aforementioned objectives
